Holly D'Oench
Artist & Naturalist
Hello! I'm Holly D'Oench (pronounced just like Dench :)).

For 7 years, I worked in the field of wildlife biology. I worked for organizations such as the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Ecological Observatory Network doing field work to further studies of organisms like beetles and birds.
In September of 2017 I stepped out of that role and into the role of artist. I have always had a passion for the arts but it has now become my focus.
I hold a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology and use that along with my field experience to inform my art so it is scientifically accurate. I now blend art and science to showcase the beauty that is all around us.

I also work as a naturalist and teach classes at various venues. More information about this can found under the 'Classes' tab.

I am currently open to commissions.
